rotterdam

Got here Tuesday evening. A tolerable jouney at just 37 quid. Yesterday I took my nephew and niece along to the euromast tower in Rotterdam. At 185 metres, it ain't the tallest structure in the world but it does offer great views. Especially as we got there in the evening. The lateness was my fault, I dragged the kids around Rotterdam in search of cigarettes! It took ages to find somewhere. They're not really into newsagents here. I should really give up ;-) Afterward I indulged my culinary snobbery with a Turkish pizza, stuffed with Shoarma (kebab meat) and topped with garlic sauce !! The kids passed on the shoarma.

Well it's was great having you here, although the planned departure Thursday turned into Sunday.Mind you another night of high jinks would probably finish me off. So enjoy the coming week in Amsterdam,Cologne,Munich, Salzburg and Vienna. The children will miss your madness.....
